Content DescriptionSays he is 'still very weak'; acknowledges the 'Steps which the States have made'; discusses the positive role of Heinsius in the negotiations; believes that Mr Buys will be given assurances of Her Majesty's 'confidence and assistance' regarding Heinsius during an audience at Hampton Court the following day; thinks they will show France 'that these two Nations cannot be separated' and that Parliament will show that if 'they cannot have a good Peace they will prepare for a vigorous war'.
