Content DescriptionSays that Heels' letters show him to be a 'true patriot' and a man 'entirely devoted to the good of mankind in general' especially with regard to England and Holland; refers to the peace negotiations with France; complains that whilst events in England have been communicated openly to the Pensionary, the same is not true of reports from Holland to Queen Anne; asks Heels to inform the Pensionary of this problem and to tell 'no soul living'; says that he will never sacrifice the best interests of Britain.
