Thanks Oxford for his favours and hopes he is in good health; encloses a letter [not present] from Monsieur Dayvenvoirde [Duvenvoorde] in answer to that delivered by Mr Thomas Harley; believes that those in Holland are willing to throw aside their differences and agree to Her Majesty's 'plan of a peace'; has received no answer from the Pensionary on this subject; asks if he may spend the 'Holy week' in the country if there are no further orders for him.
