Discusses the state of the [peace] negotiations with France and the Netherlands; has relayed Oxford's apologies for his delayed response to '30'; says that '30' is convinced of Oxford's 'good intentions for ye common cause' and the necessity of securing a 'firme union between both nations'; states that '30' desires 'good intelligence' in order that 'all manner of suspitions and jealousyes' be removed; says that much information comes via Monsieur Hervart who gives' him self great airs'; refers briefly to the deaths of Monsieur de Welland and Waddinxuein; discusses various interviews and refers to the participants and places by code numbers.
