Content Description
Encloses a copy [not present] of Dr Brampton's answer regarding the Swedish ships; has finished the new instructions for the privateers and men of warr with 'relation to the Swedish merchants'; reports an 'unfortunate accident' between a Swedish man of war and Rear Admiral Whetstone's squadron; hopes that the merchants will be released soon; sends copies of Whetstone's letters [not present] containing further details; says that he has written to Mr Robinson on the subject; hopes the Mr Lyon Croone will represent the facts fully.
