Discusses the misbehaviour of troops; refers to their offenses and the case brought against them at the Assizes; says that Sir Richard Lane was absent at the taking of the testimonials and spoke on their behalf; claims that he attempted to prevent his own servant from testifying against the accused, even though he has been 'severly wounded' in the rioting.
