Content DescriptionAccount of the receipts and payments of the Marine Police Office on account of the West India Merchants for the period 2 July 1798 to 5 July 1800, including list of the Merchants' expenses, and of the salaries paid to employees of the Marine Police Office.

Affidavit as to the veracity of the account, confirming that the balance of £1402 2/- due is credited to the account of the West India Merchants, and that the vouchers were all destroyed in the fire on 6 Oct. 1800; sworn by William Brooke, cashier, 21 May 1801.

Memorandum of delivery of the account to the Duke of Portland, 23 Jun. 1801, signed by P. Colquhoun.
