Content DescriptionHad called upon the duke that morning to show him the answer he had received from General Acton relating to the commission the duke gave Sir William about the Shropshire MP; explains that Acton's letter is in English and is not unintelligible; transcribes an extract of this letter which describes the support he and his family have given and will continue to give to their MPs including Mr Hawkins Brown[e], his companion for Bridgnorth and the members for Wenlock, according to the direction of the Duke of Portland.
