Content DescriptionWrites that last April, he sent to the duke's porter the statement of his complaint and several affidavits against Francis Roffegnia, a French immigrant; as he received no answer, has applied several times since to the duke's porter, who referred him to Mr Ford's office at Whitehall; when he enquired there, no papers were to be found, but one of the clerks suggested that he write to Mr Ford at Weymouth, who responded that he knew nothing of the papers; as these papers are of importance to him, asks that the duke make some enquiries as to their whereabouts and return them to him.
