Date14 April 1801
Extent2 ff
LevelItem/file
Content DescriptionWrites that he lately applied to the duke on behalf of M. Dudon who was proceeding to Martinique to put in his claim to a plantation called Hakaërt; the other claimants to these lands have also written to the duke to request that he recommend them to Keppel, namely Madame V. Pérés Duvierer, Monsieur Louis Lalanne and Monsieur Pierre Coudere (son of the late Madame Coudere); they all live in London and are keen that their presence in Martinique may be dispensed with; would be glad for any help that Keppel could give in preventing them from being put to any extra inconvenience of expense.
