Content DescriptionReports that he has seen Lord Hardwicke who told him that the Dutch troops were soon to leave Ireland for Jersey and Guernsey, but asked him not to mention it except to General Constant and his [the writer's] brother; Hardwicke told him that he could not place him as one of the aide de camps; hopes the duke might find some employment for him 'in that station'; will wait on the duke at 5 o'clock to see if he has any message for him.
