Writes that in June he sent some seeds to the Duke by the ship 'Hind' and a turtle by the ship 'Royal Edward'; hopes they arrived safely; sends this letter with Governor Dowdeswell, whom he praises; is sure that if the Governor does not come back the Duke will provide someone equally as capable; writes that a box of seeds from him [Mr Hall] is entrusted to the care of the Governor.
On a second piece of paper: List of seeds sent with Governor Dowdeswell.
