Explains that he would have sent the enclosed paper [not present] sooner had it not been for the illness of the Duchess of Leinster; does not think it will tell the duke anything new but it may draw his attention to some important details, particularly in breaking for peace; there is a summary of Mr Dundas's defence on a motion for an enquiry into the expedition to Ferrol; ends letter with a latin inscription.
