Content DescriptionRefers to the claim of he and his brother for full pay, in their life times, as colonels of the late Irish Brigade; reminds the duke that a few months ago he told him [the writer] and the Count de Serrant that he had mentioned the matter to the Duke of York who believed that their claim was 'just'; mentions that he [the Duke of Portland] had said when they last met that he believed they would be successful in their claim; thanks the duke and begs that he intervene to help resolve the matter in their favour as soon as possible.
