Baynes on this matter; mentions that he will go to Bath with Mrs King next week and will return the first week in October when Lord Pelham will visit the Duke of Leeds for a few weeks; comments of the 'calm' there at the moment and wishes that they were now at the end of their negotiations; is surprised that they have not heard from their 'Paris friend' and if they hear nothing for a month will assume that this channel of information has stopped; adds that 'Abbot is playing the D- in Ireland' and comments in some detail on his actions there; comments on how long it is since he has seen the duke.
