Content DescriptionSends copy of the articles drawn up by Mr Wilmot and signed by Mr Lucas [Pl C 41/4]; explains that it has been drawn up according to most of Barkley's directions; explains the few adjustments that have been made; discusses what they should do with Mr Farr at Bolsover who refuses to pay his rent until he is paid the interest; discusses perambulation of various manors; writes that John Glessop of Woodthorp has died in debt, but hopes that his brother Benjamin will fulfil the terms of his lease with the countess; discusses arrangements for this; also reports the death of Joshua Bargh of Dunston, who has rent in arrears; Colbeck hopes these will be paid by his son; has been at Welbeck today and has not seen Mr West; reports that his accounts will soon be ready and he will either send them or bring them himself.
