Content DescriptionWrites that Thomas Noon, the groom, was with him that morning; gives details of the arrangements with the horses; Noon had asked him for £50 with which to go to Doncaster Fair, but Cleaver could not as he had just paid Mr Fletcher £350, of which £200 went on the Hunt so that the duke might be on the same footing as Lord Thanet; when Noon is next with him, will give him the money; comments on the money still owed from the sale of cattle; hopes that the duke and his family will be at Welbeck at the end of May.
