Content Description	Writes that he is a friend of Count De Viry, and presents the Count's respects to the duke; lays before the duke the Count's letter from Savoy [not present]. Some notes in a different hand [probably the 3rd Duke of Portland's] at bottom of page note that De Viry is pensioned only until 29 Sept. 1781; adds that exemption from the absentee tax is due from 1 Jan. 1781, despite the promise of Lord North.
