Content DescriptionHas this week sent by the Mansfield Carrier the accoutrements for the 6 militia horse charged on Harley for his estate in Nottinghamshire; has written that the reason for Harley putting off the trial, at his own expense, was that he wanted to give the duchess another opportunity of considering the possibility of avoiding a damaging trial; does not yet know the success of this policy; has seen Mr Walter who has promised to serve the Harleys and act for them against the duchess; comments on the advice he has already given; has received the receipt for the £340 from the Duke [of Newcastle].
