Content DescriptionWrites that Mr Dixon has promised by this post to send Harley a breviate of the 'D[uchess]'s Bill', which will be more intelligible than merely the bill verbatim; mentions that Mr Walter has told him that the duke had asked Mr Naylor for his advice about 'the present', and was surprised that the £200 to make Harley's share equal to that of the duke's was not paid; reports that he [Wenman] told Naylor that he was happy to pay the money, and would pay a further quota when the duke was ready; asks for Harley's commands on this matter; mentions that he has written to Dr Ward.
