Content DescriptionThinks it was a bad idea for Cossen to put up Robert Challand's rent by three shillings per acre, as Norman is only paying 15 shillings and Challand is just starting out; wishes him to be charged no more than 15 shillings per acre; orders that 'the hills of the red acres' be taken out of hand; adds that Robin is appointed gamekeeper; hopes he will be better than Will Gore; agrees that 'young Elsam' should have the farm; hopes one can be found for Cole's son as he is 'an industrious young man'.
