Is pleased with Wenman's progress and hopes that there will be a 'Conclusion' in London; refers to a brace of hares from Welbeck and to Mrs March's request for some brass candlesticks.
Remainder of letter is damaged, with text loss, leaving meaning obscure.
On back of second folio:
Note from George Wenman to his brother [William Wenman]: is glad to hear that he is well; reports the good health of his sister and 'Dear Peggy'; hopes to be able to visit him in Edwinstowe.
