Writes that he has spent £50 on repairs to the farmhouse and outbuildings having been promised a new lease by Mr Wenman; understands that the lease is in the possession of the earl awaiting his attention; prays that the earl might deal with the matter as quickly as he thinks fit.
Date estimated with reference to the Earl's style of address and from another reference to Mr Pawson in 1724 in this series of letters.
