Content DescriptionReports the death of George Tealby at Cambridge; writes that he will be buried at Wimpole along with other past servants and that it will be done with as little expense as possible; mentions the health of the Richmond gelding which is out to grass; reminds 'my Lord' [2nd Earl of Oxford] that the white heifers at Welbeck ought to be returned to Wimpole for breeding.

Refers to the serious arrears in which are Thomas Eversden, Francis Austin and George Hawks and mentions the poor prospect of them being paid off; wishes 'the most powerful of his [the earl's] agents' to speak to them, and wishes that they had been quicker in seizing their goods.
