Sends festive greetings and assures the earl of his 'gratitude & affection'; expresses a duty 'almost filial' to the earl and his family; writes that Mr Harley and his family are well; has heard from Mr Cuttle that the earl will come to London on Saturday; wishes him a pleasant journey; adds that 'Your Serv'ts etc. at the K's Arms never forgot all at Bullstrode'.
