Content Description	Writes that Charles Gunter's fever has gone down and he thanks 'his Lordship' [2nd Earl of Oxford] for providing the care of Dr Sandys and for asking after him; has told Mr Merry what the earl wrote; apologises that Ned Dusal failed to let the earl know how 'the boy's head' was. Blames the slow receipt of rents on the tenant's dislike of him [Cossen] for not granting their every request, and on the low prices and poverty of the area; mentions the arrangements for the appraisal at Kingston Wood whereby Mr Hurrell senior and Mr Butler of Bourn will be adjudicators for the earl and Mr Abbis will choose two others for himself. Writes that Mr Cole's son and daughter are to take over William Lundys' house in Arrington; recommends that Lundys be allowed the various sums he asks to be allowed for money spent on improvements; states that Henry Waller's goods will not be sold for much and will not cover his arrears; reports that Captain Eversden's youngest daughter has eloped and married one of her father's servants.
