Content Description	Has told Thomas Kettlewell to go to Down Hall with the horses, has asked the gamekeeper to kill a buck, and has ordered Samuel Jackson to go with the venison to Dover Street; reports that the corn harvest is good. Writes that the shepherd William Day of Caldecot was at the harvest at Kingston Fields and his dog killed a hare; he gave it to the minister Mr Lee but was reported by 'Frank' and brought before Mr Eversden who ordered him to pay a fine; states that Mr Day is a freeholder and has always voted for the earl's interest; transcribes a letter sent by him [Cossen] to Mr Eversden: States that the killing of the hare was done by accident rather than deliberately; asks that the constable does not enforce the payment of the fine until word has arrived from 'my Lord'.
