Content DescriptionReports that John Marlow was unable to sign his agreement for his share of the Carr through illness, but that now he has decided to give up his work and to have his farm let to someone else; is confident of finding another tenant within a fortnight; requests a response to the draft lease and sample agreement sent to 'my Lord' [Edward Harley, 2nd Earl of Oxford] earlier; also asks for word from 'my Lord' about [the late] Sir Thomas Hewett's farm at Clipston and about the molehills.
