Date16 December 1728
Extent1 f
Content DescriptionIn relation to the non-performance of covenants in the articles executed for the Carr, offers the following thoughts 'to yr Lordsps Oppinion': advises that the tenants at Norton be obliged to take leases of their lands for 21 years at the same rents, and that they each be allocated a section of the Carr at an extra specified rent.

Suggests that they provide fences around their portions at their own expense and plant elm trees, with financial penalties should they not comply; also suggests that closes belonging to Welbeck be surrendered by the tenants with due notice; describes agricultural and other covenants which ought to be included in the leases.
