Content Description
Refers to the account relating to a payment to Mr Nutting on 25 Jan. 1724/5 for his bills dated 1721-1722 and asks for the bills to be checked; writes that John Bouran has visited him with a man from Leicestershire who is interested in breeding a herd of white cows like those in the park.
Suggests that one of the heifers and a young bull might be sold to him; adds that the bull must be either sold or gelded anyway as there are two other good ones; writes that the cool and wet weather is hampering the haymaking, but that he has taken the opportunity to send some butter and some pigeons from Grange Farm.
