Content DescriptionHas paid the orders for £30 5/- to Mr Saunders; reports the death of Jabez Conder caused by a horseback collision with a cow; states that he was thrown hard to the ground but was able to ride to Lotton; he was bled but died soon afterwards and was buried in Croyden; adds that the horse and cow have been forfeited on the orders of the coroner.

Writes that the pregnant maid at Parson Metcalfe's in Toft was threatened with being taken before the Justices, upon which she claimed that the parson's man was the father; mentions that Widow Conder wishes to become tenant of the farm for the sake of her 13 year old son; sends a pheasant with Flanders and has also sent woodcocks and a doe.
