Writes that carp from Mr Pemberton have been put into the reservoir; mentions the progress of the levelling of the Court and the planting of hay seed there and adds that tomorrow Thomas Nixson is to set up the statue in the centre; remarks that Joseph Norman's sister will begin a probationary period at the dairy on Lady Day; requests instructions as to the amount of beans and oats to feed the horses.
