Content DescriptionReports that Mr Hubbert has postponed ploughing up the Close because he fears he will not be able to pay his rent; writes that Mr Streke left with 'the Brace of Does' and has not returned; refers to John Bouron becoming tenant of the Tigar Inne; writes that he will be signing an agreement with William Holben for Fairchild's farm the following Tuesday.

Refers to a plan to reorganise lands tenanted by John Field and John Norman which would allow the demolition of buildings obstructing the view of Whaddon Avenue; writes that Mary Green has applied for work at the dairy at the Grange and seems very suitable; states that she is a widow who has lived all her life around Hardstone, and 'promises to have no Gossipers come about her'.
