Reports that Jabez Conder still asks about his relative taking over Fairchild's farm, but that he is keeping his options open; writes that William Gore has gone away despite being told that he must not 'go there' without permission from the earl; has 'sent the Books to Dr Middleton' and has left a letter at Mr Brand's 'about the brawn'; encloses a list of things 'sent by the Royston Waggon' [Pl C 1/527].
