Describes the works at the old fish pond, where considerable quantities of earth have been moved; is to discharge the workmen there and also most of those working at the reservoir; mentions the grates at both places; writes of the injuries suffered by the horses Bumper and Dimple and adds that John Bouron has come back from Nottinghamshire; mentions that William Gore has sent some game by the Orwel Higler; reports that the men from the reservoir assisted in putting out a fire in a haystack.
