Expresses the great joy of all at Wimpole at the news of the birth of a son to the earl and countess; writes that there has been bell-ringing and a bonfire in celebration; wishes the earl to know how pleased they all are; adds on the back that he has sent 'a very good Doe...a brace of Fine Young Hares kild this day and a small number of Peaches from the Gardens' in the care of Francis Hodgson.
