Content Description | Encloses a letter from Mr Soresby [not present] about the Derbyshire woods in answer to his [Wenman's] own letter which he wrote according to the directions of Mr Auditor's [Edward Harley]; explains that the duke has a copy of this letter; mentions that they have not received any commands as to what they should tell Soresby about the disposal of the woods; asks whether Mr Dixon will be hearing from Harley; adds that a 'poor fellow' brought him the enclosed bill [not present] of things he says he sent to Wimpole by Harley's orders; explains that he knows nothing of the matter and awaits Harley's instructions. |
