Writes that he called in at Mr Kimpton's, who was not there, but learnt from his wife that he was to set off for London on the next day; reports that he cut a hole in the fence so that Arrington church could be seen from the hall; adds that it made no difference and that walnut and other trees will have to be cut down which are at present blocking the view.
