Requests instructions so that he might talk to Mr Brown about a new barn; has paid Mr Wortham; discusses Mr Wortham's finances and adds that Mr Wortham expressed his sorrow at having annoyed Lord Harley by his remarks about the lateness of the payment; has ordered John Elsom to make iron grates to catch the embers so that they do not go to waste.
