Content DescriptionHas heard of Lord Harley's safe arrival at London from William Pluckrose and John Knipes who brought the horses back; reports that he spent a night at the Red Lyon in Cambridge the previous week paying bills and cash to various people; mentions that Messrs Timbrel and Phillips have been staking out the ground for the new buildings at Kings College, and that he will hear from them about the timber when he is back in Nottinghamshire; has paid the servants' boardwages, but adds that Thomas Thornton has gone back to the Tigar Inn; wishes to know how much Mr Twibell has paid John Knipes so that he can pay him the rest the following week.
