Has arrived at Wimpole to find the harvest delayed and cut trees lying in the open; has set four teams of men on the task of moving the timber inside; mentions that the bean crop has suffered because the thistles had not been weeded out; writes that the chapel windows are being painted and that the King's Hall has been completed, and adds that Mr Pridmore's men are working on the new chapel stairs and the coach houses.
