Content DescriptionHas sent a copy of an enclosed letter to Mr Godfrey at Wimpole, relating to the death of the tenant George Gill at Arrington [see Pl C 1/414]; writes that Mr Morley has left Welbeck, that the workmen in Mansfield woods have been dismissed, and that nothing more is being done in the woods; will come to Wimpole when the cordwood has been dealt with; adds that timber for Mr Phillips and Mr Timbrel has been loaded at Stockwith; with respect to the orders brought by Mr Morley, expresses concern that he is ill-thought of as an agent; wishes to know whether to send the two gallons of mushrooms to London or Wimpole; writes that the boat given by Lord Carmarthen is being sailed to Cambridge.
