Reports the progress of the work in 'the roome that was the old Chapell'; gives dimensions of the glass to be put 'over that Chimley'; writes that 'We are about the Great arch Going to the Galey which when finish't shall Lay the floore'; has asked Mr Bodwell for some locks; reports that Sir James Thornhill's men have left without finishing their work and refers to painting the far end of the chapel; refers to going to Lyn to get materials.
