Content DescriptionThanks him for the order on Mr Francis Child and Partners for £272; writes that he has paid Mr Finch's bill for £72 2s 10d; mentions that John Stevens has applied for the tenancy of the Tigar Inn and has offered to pay the arrears run up by his mother; gives reasons why he thinks he would not be a suitable choice; refers to Conders Close, suggesting that the hedge be removed and replaced with a canal which would drain away the water and improve the view.
