Content Description | Writes that he has been with John Dickenson looking for brick earth in Whaddon Field; mentions that they found a brick there which was quite poor quality; adds that they found more earth closer to the river and that Dickenson wishes to test out the brick by firing it in comparison with others; mentions that he has received very few rents; adds that work has begun on making the roadway to Johnson's house; writes that the painters are hoping that Sir James Thornhill can provide them with accommodation.
