Content DescriptionWrites that he left a message with Mrs Hayford asking for her husband to call on him; reports that he has just spoken with Mr Hayford the younger who will only offer £13 10/- for the wood if the cordwood is reserved to Lord Harley, but who would not absolutely confirm that offer until the following week; adds that following Lord Harley's instructions he will offer the wood at £14 10/-, but suspects that the offer will be refused.
