Has been told by his wife that Mr Cotton and Mr Knight called at his house and expressed their disapproval of the sale of the Derbyshire woods to Mr Hayford; has sent the agreement to Lord Harley; transcribes a letter received from Millington Hayford the previous day in which he states that he wants a covenant indemnifying him from Mr Knight's claims; advises Lord Harley on the terms of articles with Mr Knight.
