Content DescriptionWrites that he is supervising the manufacture of grates to keep the fish in at Carburton Forge [Dam]; expresses his pleasure at the 'vistoe' at Whaddon Field, which will improve when the trees grow; mentions that Mr Knight is with his nephew the agent at Clypston; describes a conversation with Mr Knight about the cordwood in Barlow Woods and about Mr Hayford's good offer to buy the woods; requests permission to mend the park fence near Sloswicks Farm, as escaping deer are causing annoyance to the tenants.
