Content DescriptionReports that Mr Ward has come to town and has given Wenman his accounts which he will examine; mentions that Ward will from now on pay his duty at Wimp[o]le; comments that he paid Wenman a bill of £200; encloses the receipt for the amount for Harley's endorsement; will pay Mr Hayes £100 for 10 tickets, if Harley wishes, and will give the other £100 to Child; has had a note from Mr Neale thanking him for his tickets and mentions that Harley will soon be receiving newspapers.

Endorsed 'pd £100 to Mr Hays for 10 lottery tickets- Mr Neals thanks for procuring of 15 tickets'.
