Content DescriptionWrites that he ordered Palmer to take the Archbishop of York a buck, for which he sends his thanks; has heard from Mr Dixon relating to the suit brought by 'her Grace' [the late Margaret Duchess of Newcastle] against Wenman; Dixon has some paperwork to be completed by Lord Harley as the Duchess's administrator which will bring the suit to an end; has procured a buck from Welbeck for Lady Monson as instructed; requests instructions for Palmer as to hay for the deer at Clipston Park and as to the repair of the fence.
